Agency Experience:

2015 - Current

Whippet - Digital Lead

For the past 2 years, I have worked as Digital Lead at the Melbourne office of creative agency Whippet.

At Whippet, I work across multiple brands, channels and categories. Highlight projects include digital strategy for Coles Financial Services, reinventing the flybuys brand to be a modern digital brand and content strategy to localise global brand Amplifon.

Day-to-day tasks include providing ongoing technical guidance to our studio, to ensure we achieve the best possible results for all of our digital projects. Clients I work closely with are Coles Supermarkets, Coles Financial Services, flybuys, SEEK and Amplifon.


2010 - 2015

Mecca MediaLight - Senior Digital Designer

I spent 5 years learning the ins-and-outs of online production, design and strategy.

Starting out as a UI designer in a time where responsive design was unheard-of, I grew my skills in both front and back end website development. This allowed me to gain a thorough understanding of the limitations, but more importantly the possibilities within website development.

From here I progressed to and developed skills in information architecture, UI and UX. This then lead to developing a further interest in the consumer journey.

Highlight projects included a 5-year working relationship with the Melbourne International Film Festival, creative and production work for Energy Australia and UX design for Netafim. Day-to-day tasks included UI and UX design, front-end development and digital production.

2007 - 2008

Next Digital - Digital Creative

The year 2007 was my introduction into the world of Digital Advertising, after gaining a Junior Creative Design Position with Next Digital.

I was exposed to and worked across a variety of digital channels such as Display banners, eDMs and campaign landing pages.

It was a world digital of touch points beening restricted to the home PC, using HTML tables and Flash. Working as a creative through this time has given me a great foundation to grow in the integrated digital world we live in now. Highlight projects included working on Ford Australia’s digital campaigns.

2009-2010

Freelance / Intern 'Studio Round'

I spent time as an intern at Melbourne based branding and publication agency ‘Studio Round’. Here I worked under the Creative Director, completing art working and type-setting tasks on a range of projects.
